Step 1 of 4: Upload bill
Start here
Upload your medical bill
A photo or PDF works, including multi-page bills. If your bill is unreadable or you do not have a copy, you can enter the details manually instead.
Before you upload
- No account. No signup. Your bill is not attached to a user profile or saved as part of an ongoing account history.
- Protected processing. Your bill is processed using infrastructure covered by a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement where applicable. Some service providers may retain inputs briefly under their own contractual terms.
- Automatic deletion. Your bill and generated documents are deleted from TestMyBill’s systems within 24 hours. We do not sell your bill data or use it for advertising.
- Your review is free. You can see the full bill review, including each finding and its confidence label, before paying. The $19 charge is only for the personalized Action Packet used to respond.
What happens after you upload
- We review it and flag what stands out. We look for duplicates, quantity and total mismatches, and other charges worth reviewing. Each finding is labeled by how strongly the bill itself supports it.
- We recommend the right request. A duplicate charge needs a different response than an unaffordable balance or a denied claim. Tell us what happened, and we’ll recommend the request that best fits your situation, with a short explanation of why.
- You answer a few questions. Only the details needed to personalize your response — usually about two minutes.
- You download the packet and use it. A personalized letter, phone script, call checklist, responses to common pushback, and a follow-up email — yours to review, edit, and send yourself.
